MCS Factory Production Control
Kiwa audits the production processes of components used in energy producing installations. Without this audit process, the end user cannot receive financial benefits for energy production.
THE MCS Scheme has made it a condition of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and the Feed In Tariff (FIT) that any renewables appliances listed under the scheme must have undergone factory production control (FPC) audit (whether manufactured in the UK or abroad). The end user cannot benefit financially from any energy producing installation unless the manufacturing process of the components have been audited successfully by technical experts like Kiwa.
We visit solar PV, solar thermal, micro wind, micro hydro, biomass and heat pump installations around the world to report back to the relevant certification bodies.
We offer factory production control audits and reports in accordance with MCS FPC standards.
