PCDB (SEDBUK) and HARP databases

The Products Characteristics Database (PCDB, formerly known as SEDBUK) for the UK and the Home-heating Appliance Register of Performance (HARP) for Ireland provide data for assessments of building energy performance.

These are owned by the UK and Irish governments respectively. We work closely with the UK governments contractor, BRE and with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
We manage the application and entry processes for the PCDB (for gas, oil and solid fuel boilers, cooker boilers and mCHP) and HARP (for gas, oil and solid fuel boilers and room heaters, cooker boilers, solar collectors and heat pumps).
Processing of applications involves verification of product identification marking and performance testing results used to create an entry.

Who is this for?

Manufacturers (legal entities responsible for placing products on the market) of the types of product indicated above, who want these entered in either or both of these databases.
